Catchword Wins 2026 NYX Silver Award for Macmillan Learning Visual Identity Redesign

Catchword has been recognized by the NYX Awards with a 2026 Silver Award for its visual identity redesign for Macmillan Learning, honored in the Advertising & Design – Logo Design category.

The recognition reflects Catchword’s expanding work in visual identity, where the same creative rigor and strategic thinking that define the firm’s naming practice extend into brand systems built to perform across every format. For Macmillan Learning, an education leader that has transformed from traditional publisher to edtech innovator, Catchword developed a vibrant new identity and cohesive brand system, including a comprehensive logo suite, asset libraries, color, typography, and a fully updated style guide. At its core is a radial mark that symbolizes knowledge radiating outward, diverse learning pathways, connection, and growth, communicating boundless learning and multidimensionality while preserving the brand’s established values of quality and reliability.

“Our new look is more than just a design change. It captures what we know to be true: that learning is dynamic, expansive and deeply human. At the heart of learning is possibility. And possibility has no boundaries,” said Susan Winslow, CEO of Macmillan Learning.

Part of the International Awards Associate (IAA), the NYX Awards is a global competition celebrating excellence and innovation across marketing, advertising, and design. Entries are evaluated by an international panel of jurors who honor the craft and creativity that leave a lasting impact on audiences.
