The naming gurus here at Catchword were delighted to see a recent project come to fruition with the launch of North of Nine Communications, a Burson-Marsteller company specializing in PR for tech clients. They were a ton of fun to work with! Smart, too.

The name North of Nine came from one of those inspired moments where we put together alliteration, real English words, unexpected juxtaposition, and a subtle message of excellence (what’s north of nine? ten!). It’s both playful and intriguing and we love the way it sounds. It’s also one of those names that could have meaning, if you wanted to tell a story, but it could also be an empty vessel that becomes filled with the brand essence over time.

Hooray North of Nine!
