Catchword Branding's historical timeline of terms of endearment

Hello friends and lovers. Tis the season where drugstores become candy shoppes, dating websites rake it in, and reservations for two are harder to come by than they were on Noah’s Ark.

In light of that, I thought I’d share this article I have always been fond of–a compilation of terms of endearment from around the world. It’s definitely worth a quick read.

And in a tell-all, Valentines Day Risqué Exposé, I thought I’d include below the results of a rigorous poll I conducted about the favorite (dare I say PREFERRED?) names of endearment from the folks who work here at Catchword.

MC: Cuddle-bear, Baby-face, Sugar-Booger, and especially Boogie-Woogie

KP: Snookums, Sweet-Pea, Babe-o-rama, Fuzzy-Wuzzy

MS: Little Bo Peep, Honey-Pile, Babe-dot-org

LM: Sunshine, McSnuggles, Red Delicious, Granny Smith

EM: SweetiePie, Baby Cakes, Honey Bun, Little Cabbage

TA: Romeo, Popinjay, Tootsie-roll, Snuggie, Onesie

JR: Meatball, Chucklehead, Great Oogily-Boogily, “I’m with Cupid”

Happy Valentines Day!!!
