Catchword was engaged to name a super-premium vacation club that would offer champagne-bucket list travel experiences in the world’s most beautiful and sought-after destinations. From Belize to Bordeaux, Lake Tahoe to Los Cabos, members would have access to multimillion-dollar luxury villas with their own personal host-concierge.

Given the global nature of the offering, Catchword explored vocabulary that would be familiar to high-end, international customers, including the word quintessence (derived from quinta essentia— the “fifth essence,” or aether—which in medieval Europe was considered superior to earth, air, fire, and water). Catchword recommended Quintess for this quintessence of luxury hospitality. From its distinctive initial Q to its soft, smooth -ess finish, the name is as elegant and polished as the company’s unsurpassed service and accommodations.

Quintess’ curated collection of vacation homes is now offered alongside Quintess Adventures, which arranges experiences from an African safari to an Asian monastery retreat to a farm-to-table cooking class.
