Any software company formed by a founder of Facebook along with one of their programming prodigies is clearly no ordinary software company. So we wanted the company name to also be out of the ordinary. “Asana”, a Sanskrit word meaning “yoga pose”, reflects both the founders’ love of yoga and their quest for focus, flow, and clarity. It’s also a particularly apt name for the company’s workplace productivity platform which creates a “single version of the truth” that business colleagues can access to get up-to-the-moment information about projects in the works.
