Imagine a world after this recession/depression where the stimulus doesn’t work. In that world, democracy fails, big money prevails, and the world is ruled by evil corporations. If you can’t imagine that world, your work has been cut out for you. Several sci-fi movies and video games have already delved into that dark world.
In this dystopian world, what would the evil overlord corporations be named? And what would their logos look like? Here’s a little test of your sci-fi and gaming knowledge:

All these logos look pretty demonic. I guess Hollywood has some really cool designers.

Let’s get our nightmare scenarios right: if democracy fails and the depression deepens, big money will by definition not prevail. A tyranny – a.k.a real big government (see “Soviet Union”, “Nazi Germany”) – will develop and rule, not “evil” corporations. Also, would it be the same evil corporations that have given us cars, medicine, ipods, TV, the Web, air travel, comfortable and cheap clothing, inexpensive and abundant food etc.etc? None of the above is a creation of a government.

Frank from Landor: Whoa whoa whoa… Take a deep breath. This was all meant in good fun. I mean, for Pete’s sake I’m talking about sci-fi dystopias, which in and of itself suggests some good humor and suspension of disbelief. Relax. Laugh. Smile. It’s good for you.

very evil companies,but isn’t it funny that the umbrella symbol and wal marts logo are very similar.and with that said even the galactic empire symbol lol.
I seem to recall that Black Mesa is a government facility, not a corporation. Besides, the most evil things done in Black Mesa were flagrantly ignoring OSHA and being the site of a catastrophic failure in an experiment revolving around shooting a crystal with lasers which may or may not have been tampered with by the G-Man and/or other unknown parties.
I think some one of theese is need to change to Union Space Corporation from the Doom game series. I think the UAC is the most dystopian corporate of theese after the weyland yutani.

Wow know one knows the second one? Well I guess i just have to put it in to this, the second logo is form Star Wars Knights of the Old Republics II, its the Czerka Corporation.
