Some clients know exactly how they want to position their brands before they come to us. Others need to conduct extensive research and engage significant resources before determining the best strategic path. Then there are those who have most of the pieces in place, but just need some objective, expert guidance to crystallize their positioning.
For those clients, we offer a half-day on-site positioning workshop, with client homework before and after. Through discussion and exercises, we collaboratively analyze the brand and its audiences and competitors, establish positioning criteria, and create and evaluate a variety of positioning concepts. At the end of the process, we arrive at a positioning statement that’s differentiated, credible, durable, extendable—and a worthy foundation for subsequent name development.
